Chris West
President

Mr. West is a senior executive with more than 20 years experience leading healthcare organizations. He has demonstrated ability in complex and diverse situations and a preference for demanding, hands-on, community organizations. He has been recognized for setting appropriate goals and for mobilizing organizational resources to achieve results.

Mr. West has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. He has served as a Member and Chair of the Cincinnati Hospital Council and a Member of the Board of the Ohio Hospital Association.

Richard Hacker
Senior Vice President

As Senior Vice President of Alliant Management Services, Mr. Hacker is responsible for the daily operations and strategic direction of Alliant Management Services. He currently serves as Regional Administrator for several of our managed hospitals. In addition to his tenure at Alliant, Mr. Hacker has more than 25 years of experience within the healthcare industry and has worked with more than 60 hospital facilities as an assistant administrator, consultant, vice president, senior vice president, and/or CEO. Mr. Hacker has a wide range of experience in all aspects of hospital administration and fiscal management.

Mr. Hacker has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Relations from the University of Kansas. He recently received additional training in organizational development, consultation, and training and was granted a Certification in Organizational Development by the National Training Laboratories in Fairfax, Virginia.

Jeff Buckley
Vice President

As Vice President of Alliant Management Services, Mr. Buckley brings more than 25 years of experience as a senior level executive in multiple healthcare organizations. He is responsible for the management activities of numerous active hospital clients and business development for Alliant Management Services. His background includes an extensive level of experience in hospital administration, physician recruitment and special project development. He has served successfully in leadership positions on numerous professional and community boards and is a past District Vice Chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Association.

Mr. Buckley is a graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration. He later pursued graduate studies in hospital administration at Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri, and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota and holds a Masters Degree in Health Care Management. He has received additional training in organizational development and executive coaching and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Joe Broyles
Vice President, Alliant Purchasing, LLC

Mr. Broyles has nearly 40 years of varied experience in the healthcare field. Since graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, he has worked as an in-house hospital management engineer, a project manager for the construction and development division of one of the nation's largest for-profit hospital corporations, served as vice president of operations for MedEcon—at the time, one of the country's largest group purchasing organizations (GPO)—and was a consultant to two of the largest hospital management companies in the U.S. Currently, he presides over Alliant Purchasing, which is also among the largest GPOs in the country.

During his tenure with Alliant Purchasing, Mr. Broyles has been directly involved with developing the company's service model, which has attained national acclaim and is responsible for the high level of customer satisfaction the company enjoys.

Thomas Clark, CPA
Vice President of Finance/Regional Controller

Mr. Clark is the Vice President of Finance for Alliant Management Services and also serves as a Regional Controller for several managed hospitals. Mr. Clark has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including seven years with an intermediary. He is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the overall financial management activities of the managed hospitals. This includes analysis related to the financial statements, budgets, rate setting proposals, feasibility studies, business office systems, productivity programs, computer systems and physician practices.

Mr. Clark has a Masters in Business Administration from Bellarmine College in Louisville, as well as a B.S. of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Louisville.

Stephen Meredith
Regional Administrator

Mr. Meredith is a Regional Administrator for Alliant Management Services for Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, Kentucky, and Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Kentucky; a position he has held since 1983. Mr. Meredith has more than 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. He is a member of the Kentucky Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served on numerous boards and committees of various healthcare organizations and is a past Chairman of the Kentucky Hospital Association.

Mr. Meredith has a Masters in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Business Administration from Western Kentucky University.

Jay Purvis
Regional Administrator

Mr. Purvis is a Regional Administrator with Alliant Management Services and Chief Executive Officer of Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. With more than 25 years experience in the healthcare industry, Mr. Purvis has extensive experience as a manager and a healthcare consultant. This experience includes directing contract responsibility and management oversight for the performance of client hospitals in a multi-state region, overseeing on-site CEOs, and assuring that managed hospitals have current budgets, strategic and management plans.

Mr. Purvis has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Hervey Davis
Regional Administrator

Mr. Davis is a Regional Administrator with Alliant Management Services for Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Illinois, and Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, Illinois. In addition to serving as Chief Executive Officer for Franklin Hospital in Benton, Illinois, Mr. Davis is a Board Member with the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN).

Mr. Davis has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has worked in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare enterprises. Mr. Davis has a particular expertise in the operations of critical access hospitals. He has a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

Earl Wolff
Regional Controller

Mr. Wolff is a Regional Controller for Alliant Management Services with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry, including four years with an intermediary. His experience includes financial projection and analysis, budgeting, development of staffing benchmarks and operational improvement analysis and implementation. Mr. Wolff also has experience with process improvement, new venture analysis, and third party reimbursement and budgeting.

Mr. Wolff has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce-Accounting from the University of Louisville. He is a member of the Kentucky Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association through which he has served on a number of committees and volunteered his services at the Annual National Institute.

Louis Vetter
Regional Controller

Mr. Vetter is a Regional Controller with Alliant Management Services and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, including 14 years as a hospital Chief Financial Officer, and 16 years as a consultant in the healthcare field. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Vetter served as the Chief Financial Officer for Murray Calloway County Hospital (Murray, Kentucky); the Chief Financial Officer for Lima Memorial Hospital (Lima, Ohio); and a Manager for Blue & Company, a certified public accounting firm.

Mr. Vetter's areas of expertise include accounts receivable management, computer conversions, operating margin improvement, productivity improvement, financial projections, budgets, and feasibility studies. Mr. Vetter has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Murray State University.

Michael Carr, R.N., C.N.A.A.
Corporate Director, Clinical Services

Mr. Carr is the Corporate Director of Clinical Services for Alliant Management Services. Having more than 30 years experience in healthcare, Mr. Carr is responsible for providing clinical consultative services to the managed hospitals as well as to selected clients in other hospitals. He provides additional services related to productivity program establishment, improvement, and management, clinical performance improvement, JCAHO/licensure preparedness, staff development, clinical education, clinical benchmarking, and new clinical service development.

Mr. Carr has a Masters of Science in Health Systems Administration from the University of Louisville. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University. He has served on the Kentucky Board of Nursing and has held numerous offices in nursing and other healthcare organizations.

Belinda Muench
Corporate Director, Strategic Planning

Ms. Muench is responsible for the strategic planning process for each of the Alliant managed hospitals. This process includes oversight and data management for the consumer and employee opinion surveys and physician needs analysis. Ms. Muench has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including an acute care facility, an NCI designated comprehensive cancer care center and a multi-specialty medical group. Her experience includes group facilitation, project management, operations improvement, budgeting and workforce planning.

Ms. Muench has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Health Administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus. She is also working towards a Certificate in Organizational Development from the National Training Laboratories in Fairfax, Virginia. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Medical Group Management Association.

Jake Carnazzo
Corporate Director, Reimbursement

Mr. Carnazzo has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. This experience includes the preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports for hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies. Mr. Carnazzo also prepares inpatient rate appeals and responds to Medicare/Medicaid desk audits. Other prior experience includes auditing managed care contract compliance on behalf of Health Midwest in Kansas City.

Mr. Carnazzo has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
